Who am I?

My journey into wine was shaped by serendipity and opportunity. I began working in restaurants at just 12 years old, (thanks to my mom who was in the industry then) drawn to the fast pace and instant gratification of hospitality. I continued working in restaurants while pursuing a psychology degree with plans for a career in clinical psychology. In between undergrad and graduate school, I took what would end up being a transformative six-month trip to Brazil where I quickly discovered a new path was beginning to unravel.

Upon returning home, I immersed myself in wine education, earning my Level One Sommelier certification in 2019 and my Certified Sommelier title in 2023 through the Court of Master Sommeliers. During the pandemic, I began hosting intimate wine classes in people’s homes, and discoverd an unexpected passion for teaching. What started as a creative pivot quickly became my calling—making wine approachable, instilling confidence when selecting wines, and inspiring deeper appreciation for what’s in the glass.

My goal is to remove the intimidation surrounding wine and equip others with the knowledge to navigate the vast and endless world of wine.
